Terms of use
These terms apply to everyone who uses the webticketer bot or panel: members who open tickets, staff who answer them, and the owners who add the bot to a server.

The service
webticketer lets members of a Discord server open support tickets, and lets that server's staff answer them from a web panel. It is an independent project. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Discord.
You use webticketer through Discord, so Discord's own terms and community guidelines apply as well, including its minimum age.
Signing in
The panel signs you in with your Discord account, on discord.com. webticketer never asks for your Discord password. If a page claiming to be webticketer asks you to type it in, it is not us.
Acceptable use
Do not use webticketer to:
- send spam, harass people, or share content that is illegal or breaks Discord's rules;
- upload malware or files meant to harm whoever opens them;
- try to read tickets or data that are not yours, or to get around the panel's access checks;
- overload or disrupt the bot, the panel or the server they run on.
We may limit or remove access for a person or a whole server that does any of these.
Server owners and staff
- Server owners decide which roles count as staff. Anyone holding those roles can read that server's tickets, so grant them with care.
- Staff are responsible for what they send to members from the panel and for how they handle what members tell them.
- Server owners are responsible for telling their members that tickets are stored and can be read by staff. The privacy page describes what is kept.
Data protection
For the tickets in a server, the server's owners decide why and how members' data is used, and webticketer stores and processes it for them, only to provide the service described on the privacy page.
- Members can download or permanently delete the tickets they opened at any time, and a server's admins can delete a member's tickets from the panel. A server cannot switch either of these off.
- If a member asks a server's staff to see, correct or delete their data, the server owners are responsible for acting on it. webticketer will help where the panel does not cover the request.
- Server owners can ask for everything held about their server to be deleted.
- If webticketer learns that ticket data has been accessed by someone who should not have it, the owners of the servers affected will be told without undue delay.
Your content
What you write and upload stays yours. You allow webticketer to store it and show it to the people described on the privacy page, which is what makes tickets work.
Availability
webticketer is provided as it is, with no guarantee that it will always be available or free of faults. Features may change, and the service may be paused or ended. Do not rely on it as the only copy of anything important.
As far as the law allows, the people who run webticketer are not liable for loss or damage arising from its use. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be waived.
Changes and contact
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and continuing to use webticketer means you accept the new version. Questions go to the webticketer support server on Discord.
