Getting started
Introduction
What webticketer is, who does what, and where to start.
What webticketer is
webticketer is a ticket bot for Discord. A member presses a button in your server, fills in a short form, and gets a private channel to talk to your support team in. Your staff never have to work in those channels: every ticket appears in a web panel, where they reply, leave notes for each other, assign tickets and close them.
Members stay in Discord the whole time. A reply written in the panel arrives in the member's ticket channel under the agent's own name and profile picture.
Who is who
- A member is anyone in your Discord server who opens a ticket. They use Discord, plus an optional page listing their own tickets.
- An agent is a member of your staff: someone holding a role you have chosen as a staff role. Agents work tickets in the panel.
- An admin is the server's owner, anyone with Discord's Manage Server permission, or a role you have chosen as an admin role. Admins can do everything an agent can, and also set the server up.
Where to start
- Setting up a server: Install the bot.
- Opening or following a ticket: Open a ticket.
- Working tickets as staff: Find your way around the panel.
