Tebex overview
Show your staff what a member has bought in your Tebex store, on their tickets and their page.
What it does
If you sell ranks, packages or donations through Tebex, a member who opens a ticket often wants help with something they bought. Connecting your Tebex store lets your staff see it without leaving the panel: what the member has spent, their recent payments (the amount, the date, the status and the transaction ID), the packages they have that have not expired, and a warning when they have refunds, chargebacks or bans on their Tebex record.
It appears as a Tebex purchases section in the ticket's Details and on the member's page, for staff only. Members never see it, and nothing from it goes into Discord, the transcripts, the downloads or the search. It only reads from Tebex: nothing is ever changed in your store. It is a premium feature, and a server's admins connect their own store.
How a member is linked to their purchases
Tebex cannot look purchases up by Discord account, so webticketer needs to know which Tebex customer a Discord member is. That is a link, made once, in either of two ways:
- An agent links them. On the member's ticket or page, type the customer's Tebex username (or UUID) or a transaction ID from their receipt into Tebex purchases and press Link. webticketer checks it with Tebex first. Change replaces a link and Unlink removes it.
- The member links themselves. The member uses /linktebex with a transaction ID from their Tebex receipt. The reply is only seen by them. /linktebex unlink:True removes their link.
