Open a ticket

How to ask for help, talk to staff and close your ticket when you are done.

Opening one

  1. Find the ticket panel

It is a message from webticketer in one of the server's channels, with one or more buttons.

  2. Press the button that fits

A short form opens asking for a subject and a description of the problem.

  3. Send the form

The bot creates a private channel for you, named like ticket-0042, and tells you where it is. Only you and the support team can see it.

You can have a few tickets open at once in a server, but not an unlimited number. If you are told you already have too many, carry on in one of those or close one first.

Talking to staff

Write in your ticket channel as you would anywhere in Discord. Staff see every message, edit and attached file, and their replies appear in the same channel under their own names.

Sometimes staff open a ticket for you instead. You are mentioned in the new channel and can reply there in the same way.

If the team has replied and is waiting to hear back, the bot may send you a direct message as a reminder, with a button back to your ticket.

Inviting someone else

If someone else in the server should be part of the conversation, type /invite in your ticket channel and choose them. They can then read and write in the ticket. Up to five people can be invited into one ticket, and staff can add or remove people too.

Only the person who opened a ticket can invite others into it from Discord.

Closing your ticket

When you are done, press Close ticket under the first message in the channel, or type /close. You are asked to confirm.

Closing deletes the channel, so you can no longer write in it. The conversation itself is kept, and staff can reopen the ticket if needed.
